Udta Teer has registered a below-par opening at the box office on Day 1, collecting around ₹4 crore net in India. The film recorded an overall occupancy of approximately 15% on its first day, indicating a slow start and limited audience turnout.
The film started poorly in the morning shows, registering just 5–7% occupancy. The response remained subdued as the day progressed, with afternoon shows reporting occupancy of around 13–15%. This limited growth was not enough to generate the momentum needed for a strong opening-day performance.
Udta Teer showed some improvement during the night shows, with occupancy reaching approximately 25%. However, the late growth proved insufficient to lift the film's overall box office performance significantly. With an estimated ₹4 crore net collection on Day 1, the film has plenty of ground to cover in the coming days.
All eyes are now on Udta Teer Day 2 box office collection and occupancy. The film will need a noticeable jump in audience turnout to improve its box office prospects over the opening weekend. Whether it can show substantial growth on its second day remains to be seen.
