Night Update: Mirzapur has shown further strong growth in the evening and night shows. The film is registered an excellent 58-60% occupancy, taking the overall occupancy for the day to around 41-42%. The film is simply rocking at the box office and did a business of around ₹27 crore net on Day 1.
Mirzapur has taken a BLOCKBUSTER start on Day 1, and even a decent trend from here on should comfortably take the film beyond the HIT zone.

Afternoon Update: Mirzapur has shown further growth in the afternoon shows, with the latest occupancy being reported at around 35-40%. This is a fantastic trend, as the overall occupancy for the day so far is around 33-34%. The film is performing extremely well in the northern belt, while business in the rest of India is good to very good. Based on the trend till 1:45 PM IST today, Mirzapur is targeting a superb ₹25-30 crore net at the India box office for the day.
Morning Update: Mirzapur has taken a superb start at the India box office on Day 1 morning shows. The film has registered around 28-30% occupancy in the morning shows, indicating a strong opening for the film.
The opening is similar to Awarapan 2, and that suggests Mirzapur should touch and may even go beyond the ₹20 crore net mark on Day 1. The trend from here will determine whether the film can target ₹25 crore net or even ₹30 crore net for the day.
Mirzapur had a solid pre-release buzz, and that has clearly helped the film's opening at the box office. The reports over the course of the day will be crucial. If the audience reports are positive, Mirzapur could see further growth in collections as the day progresses.
