Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collection Day 1: Film Opens to Slow Start
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has taken a slow start at the box office on its opening day. As per early estimates, the film has collected around ₹3.75 crore net on Day 1, which is considerably lower than the opening of its previous installment.
Such a low opening is certainly alarming for the film, especially considering there are some expectations surrounding the franchise. The film now needs a massive push on Day 2, which is its first Saturday, to regain momentum at the ticket counters. Ideally, the movie will require a jump of around 60-70% or even higher to put up a respectable first weekend total.
Even that may not be entirely sufficient in the long run, but it would at least provide some hope for the film going forward.
The occupancy figures on Friday were also on the lower side, with the film reportedly registering around 12-13% occupancy throughout the day. This indicates that audience response on the opening day remained fairly limited.
All eyes are now on Saturday and Sunday collections, as the weekend growth will be crucial in determining the film’s box office trajectory. Trade experts are hoping for a significant rise in footfalls over the next two days.
