Night Update (11:30 PM IST): Border 2 has gone absolutely crazy on Monday. The film has shown further growth on Day 4 and collected around ₹62 crore net for the day.
The film has registered a staggering 73-75% occupancy in evening and night shows, taking the overall occupancy for the day to around 68-69%. With this, the film’s extended first weekend total stands at a massive ₹188.5 crore net. Border 2 is set to zoom past the ₹200 crore net mark on Day 5 and is firmly heading towards a BLOCKBUSTER verdict.
Afternoon Update (1:45 PM IST): Border 2 has gone absolutely bonkers on Day 4 during the noon–afternoon shows. The film is registering an unthinkable 85–90% occupancy in these shows. Several screenings are SOLD OUT, with capacity issues reported at multiple locations. The film has clearly gone to the next level and is now targeting a humongous ₹60–65 crore net for the day. Morning Update (11 AM IST): Border 2 has taken a BUMPER START on Day 4 with its morning shows. The film has registered an impressive 45% occupancy on Republic Day morning, which is fabulous as the opening is even stronger than Sunday.
The initial morning trend suggests that the film is targeting a massive ₹60 crore net for the day. Having already crossed the ₹125 crore net mark in its first three days, Border 2 is now expected to go beyond ₹180 crore net by the end of Day 4. The film is displaying BLOCKBUSTER trend so far.
