Night Update (11:30 PM IST): Border 2 has shown further solid growth today. The film registered an excellent 75% occupancy in the evening–night shows, which is truly fantastic. Many evening and night shows reported sold-out status.
Overall occupancy for the day stands at around 45-46%. The film collected approximately ₹38 crore net for the day.
With this, the film’s two-day total stands at around ₹69 crore net. Border 2 is all set to touch the ₹100 crore net mark on Sunday. The film’s trend remains very strong, and with Sunday and Republic Day still to come, it is expected to zoom past the ₹125 crore net mark within the extended first weekend itself.
Afternoon Update (1:45 PM IST): Border 2 has picked up big pace in noon–afternoon shows. The film has registered a fantastic 40% occupancy, taking the overall occupancy for the day so far to around 28–29%.
The film is witnessing solid growth in multiplexes while reporting a strong hold in single screens. Based on trends till 1:45 PM IST, the film is targeting a superb ₹33–35 crore net approx for the day. Stay tuned for further updates!
