"Kantara: Chapter 1" has shown an outstanding hold on its 2nd Friday (Day 9). The film collected a fantastic ₹22–23 crore net across all languages, including an impressive ₹7.5 crore net (approx.) from the Hindi version alone on Day 9.
The film appears unstoppable in its second week, with massive business still ahead. Its total collection in India now stands at a whopping ₹348.5 crore net (approx.), while the gross collection has already crossed the ₹400 crore mark domestically.
In the Hindi market, the film has already surpassed the ₹100 crore net milestone and is now racing towards ₹150 crore net. In fact, by the end of the second weekend, it is expected to be close to ₹140 crore net in Hindi alone.
