KANTARA: CHAPTER 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 8 (2nd THURSDAY)
Night Update (11:30 PM IST): Kantara has recorded an outstanding ₹326 crore net (approx.) across all languages in India during its extended first week. The film’s Hindi version alone has contributed an impressive ₹106 crore net (approx.) to the total.
The film has already emerged as a smash hit, and its second-week performance will determine the extent of its success. Estimating the lifetime collection remains difficult at this stage, as the film continues to perform strongly across multiple languages.
The second Friday business will provide a clearer indication of the film’s long-term trajectory. If it manages to hold solidly on Day 9, Kantara could once again dominate the box office.
Morning Update (2 PM IST): Kantara: Chapter 1 has registered 11% occupancy in the Hindi version till the noon shows. The film is targeting ₹6.5-7 crore net approx based on the trend till noon.
