KANTARA: CHAPTER 1 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 5 (MONDAY)
Night Update (11:30 PM IST): Kantara has shown an outstanding hold in the Hindi version, as the film is expected to do a business of around ₹8.5-9 cr net approx. In all languages, the film is expected to collect around ₹30 cr net approx. The film has shown a good hold in other languages as well. The total collection in Hindi at the end of Day 5 has touched the ₹80 cr net mark, while the all-language total in India stands at around ₹249 cr net approx. The film has emerged as a SMASH HIT at the box office.
Noon Update (2 PM IST): Kantara: Chapter 1 is showing a fantastic hold on Monday as noon samples are coming in. The film has registered 15% occupancy in the Hindi version during the noon shows. Overall occupancy for the day so far in Hindi is around 12-13%. The film is targeting a solid ₹8-9 cr net approx in Hindi alone based on the latest trend and will emerge as a HIT in the Hindi version. Morning Update (11 AM IST): Kantara has registered 9-10% occupancy in Hindi in the morning shows of Day 5. The film has shown a solid hold and is all set for a rocking Day 5. It is targeting ₹8-9 cr net approx in Hindi alone based on the morning trend, which is a pretty good total. The film is on track to touch the ₹100 cr net mark in Hindi and may achieve this feat by the end of the first week itself.
