Night Update (11:30 PM IST): Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has collected a superb ₹4.5 crore net (approx) on Day 8. With this, the film has touched the ₹50 crore net mark, and there’s more to come. The film registered around 40% occupancy in the night shows, with an overall occupancy of about 30% for the day. It continues to perform superbly at the box office with no signs of slowing down. Day 9 business will give a clearer idea of its lifetime potential.
Afternoon Update (2:30 PM IST): EDKD is simply unstoppable on its 2nd Tuesday as the film is reporting fantastic occupancy, thanks to discounted ticket prices today. The film will zoom past the ₹50 cr net mark today and continue to march ahead strongly. It has registered around 35% occupancy in the noon-afternoon shows, with overall occupancy for the day so far around 25-26%. The film is all set to emerge as a CLEAN HIT within the extended first week!
Morning Update (11 AM IST): Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has registered 15-17% occupancy in the morning shows of Day 8. The opening is better than Day 7 morning, mainly due to discounted ticket prices.
