THE BENGAL FILES BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 1 (FRIDAY)
Night Update (8 PM IST): The Bengal Files had a low first day at the box office, mainly due to fewer screens and its clash with The Conjuring and Baaghi 4. The film registered a decent 20% occupancy for the day and is targeting ₹1.75-2 cr net approx. for Day 1. The film will need a big push on Saturday to aim for a respectable first weekend total.
Noon Update (2 PM IST): The Bengal Files has registered 20-25% occupancy in the noon shows, with overall occupancy for the day so far around 18-19%. The film is trending well, but due to its limited show count, collections will remain restricted unless it shows a big spike in the evening and night shows. Stay tuned for more updates!
Morning Update (10:45 AM IST): The Bengal Files has registered 15% occupancy in the morning shows of Day 1. The occupancy is decent, but the problem is that the film has a limited show count. Hence, it ideally needs a better occupancy level for the day. Again, it’s just the morning shows and the whole day is left. Hoping the film picks up as the day progresses.
