War 2 Movie Review
Star Cast - Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, Kiara Advani
Director - Ayan Mukerji

Rating Score -> 3/5
War 2 is mostly a delight for action and thriller lovers. Hrithik Roshan owns every frame with his charisma, physique, and action skills, delivering yet another powerhouse performance. Jr NTR makes a confident debut in Bollywood, leaving a strong impression in his very first Hindi film.

Weakest film in #YRFSpyUniverse... Has star power, scale, style, stunts - but lacks soul... Writing is the biggest culprit here... Not even #HrithikRoshan and #NTR can save this royal mess! #War2Review

War 2 is too ordinary a fare to be loved by the audience. It is far from being a worthy successor to War. It will, therefore, do below-average business.
4. Khaleej Times -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
The film tries to be too much. A tale of friendship gone wrong, a saga of patriotism, a tribute to Indian spies, a broken love story and the murky world of international politics. Too many elements have not spoilt the soup entirely but they certainly made it bland.
5. First Post -
Rating Score -> 2/5
War 2 showed promise, not as a coherent story, but at least dumbed-down, cheerful fun when it began. But just like Tiger 3, it began to take itself way too seriously when all it needed to do was guffaw at its silliness.

Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Kiara Advani spy saga is so limp, you’re left looking for zing. Hrithik Roshan's spy Kabir gets an impossible task in the latest spy univerrse film -- to keep us glued to the screen. Jr NTR seems to be missing his fizzy RRR co-star Ram Charan while Kiara Advani is missing an actual fleshed-out role.
7. Times of India -
Rating Score -> 3/5
War 2 offers enough high-octane moments, striking visuals, and polished production to make for a passable big-screen experience. Worth a watch if you’re in it purely for the action and spectacle.
8. India TV -
Rating Score -> 3/5
War 2 seems like a shiny but hollow action thriller which has been completely covered by star power. The film takes you to foreign locations, grand sets and many wonderful places.
9. NDTV -
Rating Score -> 2/5
Any war is about choice. Decisions are made, sides are chosen. Films are also about choice. Wish War 2 makers had thought long and hard about what they want to say and why. Maybe choose to kill a prominent character. At least then, we'd go home with some sympathies for the dead character, just like Jai from Sholay.

Rating Score -> 2/5
The entire world of 'War 2' feels hurried - a film green-lit simply because the Spy Universe needed its next chapter, definitely not because anyone had a story worth telling. Honestly, the film just ends up making the whole YRF spy world look less like an event and more like a noisy, expensive bubble that is ready to be burst.
11. Rediff -
Rating Score -> 3.5/5
At almost three hours of length, War 2 also feels a bit too long and some flashbacks (the romantic portion with Kiara-Hrithik) wander off-topic at times. But the film quickly moves to its next eye-popping set piece and keeps the momentum going.
12. Hindustan Times -
Rating Score -> 2.5/5
It is another recycled story from Shridhar Raghavan, who has already penned Pathaan, War and Tiger 3 for YRF. The constant mishmash of action and chase sequences wears you out, and every entry of Hrithik and NTR is in slow motion, almost instructing their fans, "Here is your hero, clap."
