Night Update (11:30 PM IST): War 2 is expected to collect a fantastic ₹44 cr net (approx) in Hindi as per early estimates. The film has performed well once again in the Telugu version, with collections set to touch ₹14 cr net mark. The all-language total for Day 2 should touch ₹59-60 cr net, which is higher than Day 1. This takes the film’s two-day all-language total to around ₹110+ cr net (approx). Collections are good, but they could have been even better considering the film’s star power, Spy Universe brand value, and the holiday period.

The film is also benefiting from the Independence Day holiday. Overall occupancy for the day so far stands at around 45%, with noon shows clocking 60%. The film had a decent Day 1, so a significantly better Day 2 is crucial if it aims for a strong opening weekend.
The film has registered around 30% occupancy in Hindi morning shows. This start suggests the film is eyeing around ₹40 cr net for the day in Hindi.
