Noon Update (2 PM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par has shown further strong growth on Sunday. The film has registered a fantastic 60-65% occupancy in the noon shows, with the overall occupancy for the day so far hovering around 48-50%.

The film is simply UNSTOPPABLE at the box office and is all set to cruise past the ₹20 cr net mark for the day. In fact, the trend till noon suggests that the film is eyeing a ₹25-26 cr net total for Sunday. Of course, a lot will depend on how it performs in the evening and night shows. Morning Update (10:45 AM IST): Sitaare Zameen Par has taken a superb start on Sunday morning. The film has registered an opening of 30-40%, which is much better than both Friday and Saturday. The start suggests that the film will comfortably cross the ₹20 crore net mark and may even touch or surpass ₹25 crore net, depending on how it performs throughout the day. The film’s first weekend total is now all set to go past ₹50 crore net. Fabulous stuff!
