Tejas has emerged as an ultra disaster at the box office. The film joined recent releases such as Mission Raniganj and Ganapath, which were also ultra disasters. All three films are competing with each other to emerge as the biggest flop of the year, along with Selfiee and a few other films. However, Tejas's budget is much less than the others and may fail to emerge as the biggest flop of the year.
Tejas collected approximately 1.25 crore net on Sunday (Day 3). Thus, the film's opening weekend stands at approximately 3.85 crore net. The way the film is trending, there might be a significant drop coming on Monday. The film's lifetime collection is heading towards a 7-8 crore net finish. If there is a greater drop on Day 4, then collections will remain below the predicted numbers.
