Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse did decently in the extended opening weekend in India. The film collected 18.75 cr NBOC approx from Thursday till Sunday. Collections are ok but could have been better considering the film was released on 1800 screens and ticket prices were high.
Spider-Man took an opening in excess of 4 cr nett on Thursday. However, the film registered a drop on Friday. The film did register jump on both Saturday and Sunday, but again the growth was muted.
There may be a big drop coming on 1st Monday now. The film is targeting 35-40 cr nett business in India now. Ideally opening on Thursday suggested that the film may have the potential to do a business of 40+ cr nett in India and maybe even 50 cr NBOC. But that looks highly unlikely now.
