Rating Score -> n/a
On the whole, Mission Majnu is a very ordinary fare. It is good that it has been released directly on an OTT platform because it would not have been able to entice the audience to the cinemas.

2. Anupama Chopra -

Rating Score -> n/a
Mission Majnu starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna begins with the declaration that it is inspired by true events. If we believe the events in this film, we have to conclude that Pakistan, in mid-Seventies, was run by men who could all fit under one label - Dumb and Dumber.

3. Times of India -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Mission Majnu is gripping in parts, but it’s too convenient, which takes away from the narrative. While great, the action stretches in places and makes the movie seem formulaic. All in all, you will enjoy it if viewed without getting into the nuances.

4. Indian Express -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna film is a sedate, by-the-numbers drone. Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandanna film avoids jingoism. The line, ‘deshbhakti rooh mein hoti hai’ is like a balm in these riven, polarised times.

5. NDTV -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Mission Majnu does not deliver a thrill a minute nor does it produce any exceptional degree of tension and suspense. Yet, parts of the film, especially in the second hour, do spring to life. This is in part due to the lively performances from Malhotra, Hashmi, Kumud Mishra and Zakir Hussain.

6. Rediff -

Rating Score -> 2/5
After cutting down Pakistan to size in every conceivable way through three fourths of the movie, Mission Majnu puffs up its chest in pride, 'Hum India hai. Hum nafrat pe nahi hum pyaar pe palte hain.' That's rich coming from a movie about countries wrestling for nuclear supremacy.

7. Hindustan Times -

Rating Score -> n/a
That being said, Mission Majnu is an entertaining watch that somewhere wants you to only look at the hero in the frame and not question how things are unfolding on screen.

8. India Today -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Mission Majnu has its heart set in the right place. It’s engaging in parts and the story is definitely worth telling. I only wish it had a better sense of direction and vision in terms of what it sets out to achieve.
