Drishyam 2 has set a new benchmark at the box office as a seventh-weekend business is better than the sixth weekend. This is mainly due to the rejection of Cirkus and of course excellent trending of Drishyam 2. The film is still unstoppable and marching towards the 240 crore nett mark.
Drishyam 2 collected a 1.35 crore nett on the 7th Saturday (Day 44) and a further 2.15 crore nett on the 7th Sunday (Day 45). Thus, the film collected a record-breaking 4.3 crore nett approx in the seventh weekend. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 234.7 crore nett approx.
Drishyam 2 will continue to do well till the big release of Pathaan. It means the film will surely go past the 240 crore nett mark. Outstanding business in the seventh week has ensured that the lifetime collection is trending towards the 245 crore nett mark. But again never count out anything at this moment as already said the seventh weekend business is higher than the sixth weekend. So anything is still possible.
