Drishyam 2 has shown extraordinary growth on the 4th Saturday (3rd day) at the box office. The film nearly doubled the collection of 4th Friday which is insane. The film is again unstoppable and all set to show another big growth on the 4th Sunday (day 24) now. In the process, the film has also touched the 200 crore nett mark.
Drishyam 2 collected 4.65 crore nett approx on day 23. The jump from the 4th Friday is a huge 80%. Thus, film total business currently stands at the 203.45 crore nett mark. The film will go close to the 210 crore nett by the end of the fourth weekend. Collections are simply out of this world again.
Drishyam 2 should go close to or touch the 215 crore nett mark by the end of week four. From week five onwards film has to face the stiff challenge of Avatar 2. If Drishyam 2 stands its own against Avatar 2 then it can touch 225 crore nett or even go close to the 230 crore nett mark. BLOCKBUSTER!
