Drishyam 2 has shown a huge jump on the 3rd Saturday (16th day) at the box office. In the process, the film has emerged as a Blockbuster. This is absolutely fantastic as the film is now all set to do excellent business on the third weekend. The film is literally unstoppable at the box office again.
Drishyam 2 started on a strong note in the morning shows. Occupancy for the morning shows was around 15-20%. The film then picked up well in the noon and reported a fantastic 30% occupancy. The film has grown further from evening onwards and as per the latest reporting 55% occupancy. Again many shows for evening and night shows are reported to be Sold Out or near about.
Drishyam 2 is showing a growth of 70-80% today in comparison to yesterday. This is massive as a 40-50% growth is touted as good. Here it is much more than that.
Drishyam 2 is targeting a huge 7.5-8 (+/-) crore nett for day 16. These are early estimates from the limited samples and the final count for the day may vary. A major pool of data from interiors is awaited and if the film does well there then it can even go beyond the 8 cr NBOC mark.
