Drishyam 2 is showing an outstanding hold on Third Friday (15th Day) and is now racing towards the elusive 200 cr NBOC mark. The film is simply unaffected by new releases and other holdover releases. Drishyam 2 is all set to emerge as a Blockbuster and should attain this verdict by 3rd Sunday.
Drishyam 2 screening is reduced by a bit from the previous week. But the film has made up for that by registering better occupancy on the 3rd Friday. Thus, the 3rd Friday box office collections are heading towards a similar level as the 2nd Thursday.
Drishyam 2 is eyeing 4-4.5 crore nett for day 15 now. A major pool of data from interiors is awaited at this moment. Also, a good number of night shows are left for the day. Hence, the final count for the day may vary.
Drishyam 2 should touch the 180 crore nett mark by the end of the third weekend. If the film shows huge growth on Saturday and Sunday then it can even go close to the 185 crore nett mark. The film will go close to or even touch the 195 crore nett by the end of the third week. As for lifetime business, the film is heading towards the 225 crore nett finish. Again if the film shows an excellent trend in week three then the lifetime collection could even go beyond that mark.
