Avatar 2 has taken a bumper start on the 2nd Saturday (9th Day) morning shows as early reports are coming in. The film is reporting double occupancy on day 9 in comparison to day 8. This is after the film reported huge business on the 2nd Friday. This is simply crazy stuff!
Avatar 2 has opened to 35% occupancy in the morning shows of day 9. For the same, 2nd Friday opening was 17-18%. It means a growth of 100% when only morning shows are considered. Any growth of 40-50% is touted as good. Here it is simply double of that.
Avatar 2 has collected 205 crore nett approx in the first eight days of business in India. The film is now eyeing 20 crore nett or beyond for day 9. It means the film will easily zoom past the 225 crore nett mark by the end of the second Saturday. Avatar 2 is simply unstoppable at the box office and is all set to create history again in the second weekend.
