Avatar 2 opened well on the 2nd Monday (11th day) at the box office as morning shows samples are coming in. Opening is on par with the 2nd Friday or slightly better. This is fantastic and it means a solid Day 11 is on cards now.
Avatar: The Way Of Water has opened to 15-20% occupancy in the morning shows of Second Monday. For the same, 2nd Friday opening was 17-18%. It means occupancy is nearly similar with slight up and down variance. The business drop will be more than occupancy as ticket prices are reduced for the day.
Avatar 2 has touched 250 crore nett approx in 10 days flat. The film is racing towards 300 crore NBOC now. Lifetime business is trending towards the 325-350 crore nett mark. It could go beyond also as there is hardly any opposition to the film. Avatar 2 has globally collected a whopping $ 881.3 million and is closing on the elusive $ 1 Billion mark
