Avatar: The Way of Water is showing a better occupancy on Saturday (2nd Day) morning shows mainly thanks to North India. Yes, North India is slowly but surely gaining momentum and hence overall all India occupancy is getting better now.
Avatar 2 opens to 40-42% occupancy in the morning shows of day 2. For the same, Friday opening was 35-40%. It means a good 10% jump is seen from day 1. This is outstanding stuff considering as the film registered a huge collection on day 1. It also means a huge second day is on cards now.
Avatar 2 is showing a much better occupancy in northern India on Saturday in comparison to Friday. It looks like word of mouth is spreading now. South India is maintaining excellent occupancy with a slight drop here and there is seen.
Avatar 2 collected 40 crore nett approx on Friday. The start on Saturday suggests a 40 crore nett business is at least expected on day 2 also. It may be more also. If this positive trend continues on Sunday then a 50 crore nett for Day 3 is also a possibility. It means a humongous opening weekend is on cards now.
