Overall Word of Mouth (Critics) - Mixed!

1. Indian Express -

Rating Score -> 2/5
Janhvi Kapoor is earnest in this bloated thriller. The survival thriller has its moments and Janhvi Kapoor puts in the work. However, the pace slackens and bloat becomes the problem.

2. News 18 -

Rating Score -> 1.5/5
Overall, Mili could have been a much better movie if the writers would have worked a little hard on the script. You can go and watch it in theatres, but it is surely not one of those films which will leave a mark.

3. India Today -

Rating Score -> 2.5/5
The film fails to invoke the right emotions, or give goosebumps and emotionally bind the audience together, despite earnest performances. If you have watched Anna Ben's Helen, then Mili may not be for you. But given that Helen seems to have been removed from OTT platforms, Mili could be given a chance.

4. Rediff -

Rating Score -> 3.5/5
It's a do-or-die situation for Mili and a prove-her-mettle scenario for Janhvi. She successfully demonstrates her charisma to survive extreme, extended focus.

5. The Hindu -

Rating Score -> n/a
A remake of the Malayalam film Helen, Mili is a tense survivor drama that manages to spur an emotional upheaval caused by its central conceit, but fails to sustain it. With the original film and a tell-all trailer already in public space, the film’s premise is no longer a surprise and it reduces the what and why of the narrative to just how.

6. Hindustan Times -

Rating Score -> n/a
Mili is a fuss free, entertaining, simple and just thrilling enough ride. Of course, it doesn't have the lure of CGI spectacles, fighter jets, flawless heroes and glamorous heroines, it still deserves a watch.

7. NDTV -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Mili would have been infinitely sharper and more gripping had it been somewhat shorter. At a little over two hours, it isn't exactly an overlong film, but given the nature of the emergency that the protagonist's accidental confinement sparks - it limits the film to a closed space for the most part - some bits of it feel a touch inessential.

8. India TV -

Rating Score -> 3/5
Janhvi Kapoor's thriller makes us helpless witnesses to horrors she suffers. Janhvi Kapoor has done a great job. Her effortless demeanor and simple look were able to win the hearts of the audience.

9. Komal Nahta -

Rating Score -> n/a
Mili is a well-made film which is entertaining in a different way. It deserves to do well. Of course, its business will not match its merits — and, in fact, box-office collections will be poor — because of the general reluctance of the audience to visit cinemas to watch non-spectacular films and also because it is a woman-centric film, awareness about which is low.
