Drishyam 2 has shown an outstanding hold on the 2nd Monday (11th day) at the box office. The film has reported a drop of around 30% on Monday from Friday. This is after the reduced ticket price. Occupancy drop is even less than that. Any business drop of less than 50% is touted as good and here it is much less than that.
Drishyam 2 collected 5.45 crore nett approx on day 11. Thus, the film's total collection currently stands at 149.25 crore nett approx. As we write this article film has touched the 150 crore NBOC mark.
Drishyam 2 is now chasing the 200 crore nett mark. The way film is performing at the box office, it should easily cross that mark. There is a possibility of even touching 225 crore nett business now. The film is getting literally free run till the big release of Avatar 2. Drishyam 2 is trending superbly and don't be surprised if the film performs exceedingly well in the third weekend again.
