Drishyam 2 has shown excellent hold on 1st Monday (4th day) at the box office as early trends are coming in. Thus, the film has passed the crucial Monday test with flying colours and will emerge as a Smash Hit now.
Drishyam 2 occupancy details for day 4 are provided below. When samples of Day 4 are compared with Day 1 a business drop of 30-35% is seen. Any drop which is less than 50% is touted as good. Here it is much less than that. This is outstanding considering the film did very well on Friday and even a 50% drop would have been acceptable.
Drishyam 2 will certainly emerge as a Hit. It will achieve this feat by the end of Tuesday or by Wednesday at the worst. The film is also on track to emerge as a Super Hit and needs a good hold on the 2nd Friday (Day 8) which is very much on.

The early trend suggests Drishyam 2 Fourth Day Box Office Collection is heading towards 10-10.5 (+/-) crore nett approx. It means film total business at the end of the day is trending towards the 74-74.5 (+/-) crore nett mark.
Kindly note that these are early estimates from the limited samples we have at this moment. A major pool of data from interiors is awaited. Also, a good number of night shows are yet to start. If film does well there then film can even challenge 11 crore nett for the day.
