Bhediya had a decent first weekend at the box office. The trend of the film is good but overall collections remained a little below par as the film started below the mark on day one. It did recover some ground on Saturday and Sunday. But the recovery should continue on weekdays to put up a respectable score for the first week.
Bhediya collected 11.5 crore nett approx on day 3. It reported a jump of 20% from Saturday which is good. Thus, Bhediya's total business at the end of the opening weekend stands at 28.35 crore nett approx.
Ideally, Bhediya needed to collect 33-35 crore nett in the opening weekend. It means the film has fallen short of a par score by 5-7 crores approx. Hence, it is of utmost importance that the film holds extremely well on the 1st Monday (day 4). Ideally, the drop should be 20-30% from the 1st Friday. A usual 40-50% drop from Friday will be of no use for the film as Friday collections were below the mark.
