Kantara Hindi has shown excellent hold on 1st Monday (4th day) at the box office. The film recorded better business on day 4 than on day 1 and that is despite lower ticket prices. This is fantastic and it also means that the film will have a good run for a few weeks now.
Kantara Hindi version collected 1.5 crore nett approx on day 4. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 9 crore nett approx. The film's first-week business is now trending towards a very respectable 12.5-13 crore nett range.
Super strong hold on Monday also suggests the film should touch and go past the 20 crore nett mark from the Hindi version. A 25-30 cr NBOC is also on cards but we have a clear picture of that once the 2nd Friday box office numbers are known. So far the film is trending fantastic!
