Kantara collected 2 crore nett approx on the 8th day. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at around 17 crore nett mark. The film is certain to see a big jump on both the 2nd Saturday (day 9) and 2nd Sunday (day 10) now.
Kantara Hindi will certainly emerge as a HIT and that should happen in the second week itself. Despite two big releases on coming Tuesday, there is a possibility that Kantara will hold its own and continue to do well at the box office. A 30-35 crore nett or more from the Hindi version looks a certainty now, with the possibility to go even beyond.
