Doctor G has shown a good jump on day 2 (Saturday) at the box office. Despite the growth, the collections are still average and the film needs to continue the positive trend on Sunday also.
Doctor G collected 5.25 crore nett approx on 2nd day. The jump from Friday is around 40% which is pretty good in most cases. But in the case of Doctor G, a 60-70% growth would have been nice. Still, there is a significant jump and hopefully, the film shows further on Sunday.
Doctor G's total business thus stands at 9 crore nett approx. The film is eyeing 15-16 crore nett for the opening weekend now. Ideally, the film should have targeted 20-22 crore nett at least in the first weekend. The film reported an occupancy of 15% on the first day and 20% occupancy on the second day.
