Shamshera is reporting a 10-15% drop on Wednesday (6th day) at the box office as early trends are coming in. Drop is ok but collections are pretty low and poor.

Shamshera has registered a low 7-8% occupancy for the 6th day till the latest report is filled in. The film is rejected by the audiences and looks like it will lose all its steam by the time it reaches the second week.

The early trend suggests Shamshera Day 6 box office collection is heading towards the 2.25 (+/-) crore nett mark. These are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary. Shamshera's total business at the end of the sixth day is heading towards the 39.6 (+/-) crore nett range.

Shamshera's disappointing business at the box office has come as a shocker. Mainly because it is a film coming off from the YRF and is carrying a heavy budget. Secondly, Ranbir Kapoor is coming to the big screen after a long time.

Ranbir Kapoor may have delivered blockbuster films in Sanju and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. But he has also delivered many big flops and disasters in Saawariya, Besharam, Bombay Velvet, Tamasha, Jagga Jasoos. Shamshera is soon to join the list of big flops unless there is some miracle happening in a day or two. And mind you if we see the loss incurred by films, then Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos will easily make it to the all time list. Ranbir needs to be more consistent and we hope that Brahmastra improves his filmography record.
