Shamshera has opened to similar occupancy on Saturday (2nd Day) at the box office as early samples for the morning shows are coming in. This is not at all a good sign as the film needs to pick up its pace if it needs a good push on day 2.
Shamshera opened to 13-15% occupancy in the morning shows of day 2. For the same, Friday's opening was around 15%. It means the film has opened to a similar level or slightly lower level in a few places.
Shamshera is eyeing 10 crore nett approx for day 1 as per estimates. Which is much below the par score. Hence, Saturday needs a jump of at least 30-40% if not more. Is that a possibility? Morning shows suggest it may not be the case. However, as tomorrow is Sunday, we hope that film shows a good jump in the collection as the day progresses.
Ideally, Shamshera needed an opening weekend of 50-55 crore nett mark which would have been a par score. However, early signs are that film may fall short of that mark by a long margin now unless film shows significant growth on the second day.
Occupancy Report for Morning Shows (Samples only) -
Saturday - 13-15%
Friday - 15%
