HIT: The First Case has shown a decent jump on Saturday (2nd Day) at the box office. The jump is significant and in the range of 50%. But again it is coming off from a low Friday and hence ideally a 60-70% jump is needed. Still, there is a growth and hope that film shows another significant jump on Sunday (day 3).
HIT collected 1.9 crore nett approx on day 2. Thus, film total business after two days is 3.15 crore nett approx. The film's first weekend total is trending towards the 5.25-5.5 crore nett range. Ideally, the film needed to score around 8-9 crore nett for the weekend considering the film's face value. That would have been a par score.

There is nothing much to say for Shabaash Mithu as it is doing horribly at the box office. The film is totally rejected and it has even failed to show the necessary jump on Saturday. The film did add 60 lakh nett approx on day 2 with a growth of 30-40% from Friday. A 30-40% is ok if the film opens well on Friday. But in the case of Mithu, it is not. Shabaash Mithu two day total stands at a very poor 1.05 crore nett approx.
