Samrat Prithviraj had an average first weekend at the box office and that is mainly due to a good jump on Sunday (day 3). Otherwise, the collection would have been even low. Film now needs a super-strong hold on 1st Monday (4th day) to have any chance of surviving at the box office.
Samrat Prithviraj collected 16.1 crore nett approx on day 3. Thus, the film's total business currently stands at 39.4 crore nett approx. The film did show a good jump of 25-30% on Sunday. But collection remained average as Saturday numbers were below par.
Samrat Prithviraj's lifetime collection will be known once Monday (4th day) verdict is out. The film needs an excellent hold on 1st Monday to have any chance of touching 100 crore nett or going beyond. A normal trend on Monday will mean that film will wrap up its business under the 100 crore nett mark. If that happens it will be a big disappointment for the film.
