Jurassic World: Dominion has taken a good start at the Indian Box Office on the very first day. This is a good sign to come as this franchise tends to sustain well at the box office, unlike other Hollywood biggies. The main reason is the family audiences which come in big numbers on Saturday and Sunday and in the evening and night shows on weekdays.
Jurassic World 3 collected a very well 8 crore nett approx on day one that is on Friday. The film already collected 3.5 crore nett approx from Thursday paid preview. Thus, film total business currently stands at a very good 11.5 crore nett approx.
Jurassic World 3 registered a good occupancy of 25-30% on Friday. The film is bound to see good to very good growth on Saturday. Don't be surprised if the film gets a growth of 40-50% or even more. The film has received mixed reviews from the critics but that hardly matters. There are hardly any films which are made for the family to watch as a whole. Jurassic is one of them and we are very much confident that the film will score a very healthy first weekend and first week score now.
Considering the start film has got a 33-35 crore nett for the first weekend is almost certain. If film shows big jump then it can go beyond 35 and close to 40 crore nett also. As for the lifetime business, it is very difficult to tell at this moment. We will have a pretty good idea, once the 1st Monday (day 4) box office results are out.
