Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness has taken a very good start at the Indian Box Office. The film started big from the first show itself and the story remained the same till the last show.
Doctor Strange 2 collected a huge 27.5 crore nett approx on day 1 (Friday). The start in the morning suggested film may push towards the 30 crore nett mark for the day. However, big growth in evening and night shows was missing.
Ticket prices for the film were all time high. The overall occupancy for the day was around 50% which is not at all bad considering film got a wide release and Average Ticket Prices were high. The film has received a positive response from critics. Initial audiences reports are mixed to positive so far.
As the film has taken a big start on Friday (1st Day) film may fail to see necessary growth on Day 2 (Saturday). It will be interesting to see whether second day collection will remain higher or lower or similar. Whatever happens from here on, one thing is certain that the film is heading towards a fantastic first weekend and will emerge as a HIT by the end of the first weekend itself unless there is a significant drop seen on Day 2 itself.
