The First Chapter of KGF was enjoyed hugely by the masses due to the stunning elevations and action scenes, but the second chapter came out with similar stuff and with more expectations. KGF Chapter 2 may get on well if and only the mass audience once again embraces it.

They will probably draw strength from the work of this team. With part one, this team broke the barriers of what otherwise gets boxed into a ‘regional film’ and took it to a pan-Indian audience, the second part elevates the entire story and takes it to next level. Prashanth raises the bar to give us an action-packed film that also makes up for a few aspects that were found wanting in part one.

You notice the weight of the narrative in the middle section as Prashanth Neel’s struggles with the political chapter of Rocky Bhai. All these make you feel if K.G.F: Chapter 1 felt more complete and wholesome. Another chapter? I’m out.

Most of the records of Hindi films for the first day, first weekend and first week will be smashed by this dubbed film. This film (only the Hindi dubbed version) has the potential to touch the Rs. 350-crore or even the Rs. 400-crore mark, maybe even surpass that! In the climax, Adheera is fighting a ferocious battle wearing a fur cape and dark glasses and you cannot ask why. But if you commit, there is fun to be had. Not consistently but enough to make the popcorn taste better.

But if you love your eardrums and have had your fill of the super-heroic exploits of an underdog-turned-top dog hero, K.G.F. Chapter is best avoided. It whips up plenty of heat and dust but yields no gold.
