Heropanti 2 vs Runway 34 vs KGF 2 Screen Count as of 29th April 2022

Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 are the two significant releases this week. Both these films will enjoy the Eid festive period. However, there is a big roadblock in KGF 2 which should again enjoy a good run at the box office at least for the weekend and the holiday period.

Heropanti 2 has managed to get around 2300-2400 screens across India. The screen count is good considering there is a box office battle with Runway 34 and KGF 2. If the film manages decent to good occupancy in these above-mentioned screens the film can really rock in this festive period. Will it? That is a different question whose answer will be known in a day or two days' time.

Runway 34 is not a typical Ajay Devgn film. It is more of a niche genre which doesn't go well with his mass branding. Runway 34 is a movie that should do well in multiplexes only. Runway 34 has managed to get a decent screening of 1800 approx India. The film can still rock big time as it is made on a controlled budget. However, it has to fight it out with KGF 2 and Heropanti 2.

Now coming to box office bonanza KGF 2. KGF 2 might have entered the third week but there seems no stopping as such at this moment. The film has again managed to get a good screening for week three and should rock big time in this Eid Festive period. KGF 2 has retained around 1600 screens across India in the Hindi version alone. Wait for some unexpected number this extended weekend.

Rest Jersey and RRR (Hindi) has hardly any significant screen left at the ticket counters.
