RRR Hindi version has taken a very good start at the box office on the opening Friday. Thus, the film is now all set to rock the box office as there should be further growth on Saturday and Sunday.
RRR Hindi has collected 20 crore nett approx on day one. The film is done extremely well in interiors and hence pushed the collection by 1-2 crores by the end of the day. RRR reported an average occupancy of 45% for the first day which is pretty good considering all release factors.
As RRR has performed very well on Friday, the jump on Saturday (day 2) maybe not be as high as 40-50%. Even a 20-25% jump will take the collections to another level.
RRR should aim for 65-70 crore nett opening weekend now from here on. That will be a good start to the box office campaign. A 75 crore nett weekend is also possible but for that to happen film will need solid growth on Days 2 and 3.
As for the audience's word of mouth of the film. It is mostly on the positive side. Critics have also given thumbs up to the film. We will have a real ground-level picture by the end of day 2.
