Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to 'Rock' on Sunday as the film has taken a very solid start in the morning shows. The film is reporting better occupancy than Saturday and is now definitely challenging the 15 crore net mark for the day.
Gangubai opened with 33-35% occupancy in the morning shows on day 3. For the same, Saturday opening was around 25%. It means a jump of 35% is seen when only morning shows are compared.
Gangubai should register further growth in the noon shows and occupancy should be at its very best then. The film should hold well in evening shows and may see some drop in night shows if we go by the general Sunday trend.
Gangubai has collected 23.5 (+/-) crore net in the first two days. The film is now eyeing 38-39 crore net in the opening weekend now. If the film shows super strong performance on Sunday even a 40 crore net for the weekend is a possibility.
