83 movie has shown good growth on 3rd Saturday (16th Day) at the box office. Despite the good jump collections are at a poor level and the film is going nowhere. The only positive is that film is all set to touch the 100 crore net mark on the 3rd Sunday (17th day) now.
83 has added 1.3 crore net approx on day 16. Thus, the film has reported a jump of 60-65% from the 3rd Friday. The jump is huge and in general cases, it would have been fantastic. But it is not in the case of 83 as the film fared very poorly on the 3rd Friday.
The film total collection currently stands at 99 crore net approx. It is all set to enter 100 crore club now. The film has emerged as a big flop at the box office. The main reason is the budget of the film. Had it been made on a controlled budget then collections would have been nice considering these are post-pandemic times and business is still not at 100% at this moment.
