Tadap, the new release of the week has taken a steady start at the box office on opening Friday. In fact, if we consider that film introduces newcomer Ahan Shetty then the start is good. Today is a normal working day and it means occupancy should be the best for evening and night shows. So don't be surprised if Tadap manages a decent score for the day one.
Tadap has opened to decent to good 15% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only and single screens reports are awaited. The film has opened better in the northern belt of India. As for the rest of India opening is decent.
Tadap is released on 1650 screens across India. Screen Count is absolutely ok and if the film manages good occupancy then a healthy first-day total is on cards.
Tadap will also face competition from Antim, Sooryavanshi and Satyameva Jayate 2. However, SMJ2 is almost over as there is hardly any screen left for that film. But Antim and Sooryavanshi are still going strong despite being roll-over films, as both these films are carrying good ground-level reports. Let's see how Tadap stands against these biggies in the coming days.
