Tadap is reporting a solid hold on Second Friday (8th day) at the box office as early trends for the day is coming in. Thus, the film has a good chance now to emerge as a success.
Tadap opened to 10% occupancy in the morning shows today. Film reporting 10-15% occupancy for noon shows. The film did register growth from evening onward and as per the latest registering 15-20% occupancy. Occupancy for 2nd Friday is better than 1st Thursday. But screens are much less now as there is a significant release in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.

Morning - 10%
Noon - 10-15%
Evening+Night - 15-20%
When samples of 2nd Friday are compared to 1st Thursday then a drop of 35-40% is seen. Such a drop on day 8 is very much acceptable. In fact, we can state it as a good hold. As Tadap is trending well so far, expect the film to get decent to good growth on 2nd Saturday (9th day) and 2nd Sunday (10th day). Thus, a decent second weekend is definitely on cards.
The early trend suggests Tadap Day 8 Box Office Collection is heading towards a 0.9-1 crore net range. These are estimates and the final count for the day may vary. Solid hold on Day 8 means film is on track to touch 30 crore net in India if it shows good trending in week two.
