83 did decently at the box office in the initial two days. The business was fair and could have been better especially in the single screens. Multiplexes are doing ok as of now.
Now coming to Sunday box office update. 83 has taken a strong start on Day 3 morning shows. The start is similar to Saturday with a minuscule drop seen at a few places. However, the overall occupancy for the morning is at the same level. 83 has opened to 33-35% occupancy in Sunday morning shows.
83 performed well in metros and a few other big cities. But the business in the rest of India is average stuff. It is in those areas where the film needs to pick up as business from just 7-8 cities is simply not enough to put up a good total for the day. Hope the story changes for the better on Sunday.
