Cinema halls are closed in Delhi on Wednesday (Day 6) and it is going to have a definite impact on the box office performance of 83. The film is already underperforming and collections will go down further now.
83 occupancy details for Sixth Day are given below. When samples are compared to the previous day (minus Delhi) then a nominal drop of 10% is seen. But business drop will be more as there is no revenue coming from Delhi.
The early trend suggests 83 Wednesday Collection is heading towards a 5-5.5 (+/-) crore net range. These are early estimates and the final count for the day may vary. 83 total collection at the end of day 6 is heading towards 66 (+/-) crore net range. Film first week collection is marching towards 70-71 crore net range now.
Collections of 83 can be said ok if we just consider it as a Ranveer Singh film and also released in post-pandemic. But can be said as a disappointment when we see the pre-release hype and budget attached to this film. It will get a kind of free run in the second week as Jersey is postponed now and it may help the film to boost its box office numbers a bit.
Occupancy Report for Wednesday (Samples only) -
Morning - 12%
Noon - 15-20%
Night - 40-42%
