Sooryavanshi has taken a big start at the box office on Sunday morning shows. The film has taken the best start so far if we consider the first 3 days. Thus, the film is definitely going to challenge 30 crore net for the day. The start is much better than both Friday and Saturday and we expect even better occupancy in the latter half of the day.
Sooryavanshi opens to 38-40% occupancy in the morning shows today. This is fantastic considering it is just morning and also considering the fact that there is still a 50% occupancy cap in many parts of India. For the same, Friday occupancy was 30% and Saturday occupancy was 28%. That means there is a good jump of 30% from Friday and 40% from Saturday morning numbers.

Sooryavanshi has a good chance of touching 30 crore net for the day. It can go beyond also depending on how film fares in the day and night time. Sooryavanshi has collected an approx 50 crore net in the first two days. The film's first weekend total is now trending towards a massive 80 crore net mark. There is no doubt that it will emerge as a big hit at the box office unless there is a colossal drop from Monday onward.
Advance booking for the latter part of Sunday is good to very good in various parts of India. It is so refreshing to see cinema viewing is back and how. All thanks to Sooryavanshi. Just a few days back prior to its release, all were in some doubt and there was a definite concern among trade and exhibition sectors that whether audiences will come back to theaters in numbers or not. Sooryavanshi has confirmed that people are ready to watch cinema on the big screen and that also in big numbers.
