Sooryavanshi has shown a solid hold on 2nd Monday (11th Day) at the Indian Box Office. The film has reported a normally acceptable drop when compared to the 2nd Friday. Now film is all set to trend well through the weekdays with minimal drop expected for each day.
Sooryavanshi has collected 4.5 crore net approx on day 11. The drop from 2nd Friday is around 35%. Any drop of 40-50% is touted as a good hold. Here, the drop is much less. Sooryavanshi's total collection thus stands at 155.75 crore net approx. The film is on track to touch or go past 175 crore net in India.
Box Office performance of Sooryavanshi is praiseworthy. Prior to its release even a 100 crore business was looking doubtful. The film was released post-pandemic and there were lots of ifs and buts. Also, in many places film is only enjoying 50% occupancy. That factor also has hampered the business significantly. Still, the film has emerged as a Hit and it is celebration time for makers, distributors, and exhibitors as a whole.
