Sooryavanshi has shown a super solid hold on 1st Monday (5th day). Film zoom past the double-digit mark and collected a few more crores after that. The film has passed the crucial Monday test with flying colors and is marching towards the Hit zone.
Sooryavanshi has collected 14.5 crore net approx on day 4. Drop from Friday is less than 50% and that is excellent considering Friday was Diwali Holiday. Film total collection at the end of day 4 stands at 91.6 crore net approx. The film is on track to touch 100 crore net by end of day 5 itself.
Monday box office result has ensured two things. First, the film should emerge as a Hit. Second, the film is on track to touch or cross 150 crore net in India.
Yes, there is a post-pandemic scare. Yes, occupancy is capped at 50% in various places. Despite those issues, people have started to come to theaters now and that is also in big numbers. Kudos to the makers of Sooryavanshi and they should be proud of this achievement alone. The film is above Hit or Flop status now.
