Satyameva Jayate 2 has shown a big drop on the 2nd Day (Friday) at the box office. This is shocking, to say the least. Shocking because first-day collections are already poor and hence further drop is the worst result for the film. It also means a poor Saturday and Sunday on the cards now.
Satyameva Jayate 2 has collected 2.25 crore net approx on day 2. The film total collection currently stands at 5.5 crore net approx. Unless there is some growth on 3rd day, the film might struggle to touch 10 crore net cumulative business. First-weekend business may remain under 15 crore net. Who would have thought of that?
Generally, the film shows a decent jump on Saturday and Sunday even if reports are mixed or negative. Hence, we still hope that SMJ2 scores something through the weekend. If the film fails then it might even struggle to touch 20 crore net business in India.
