Satyameva Jayate 2 has taken a bit lower start on day 2 (Friday) in comparison to day 1 (Thursday). This is again not good news. Anyways today is a working day and that may be one of the reasons. But we have also to take into account that SMJ2 had a shocking start on the first day.
Satyameva Jayate 2 has opened to 7-8% occupancy in the morning shows today. Samples are from multiplexes only. Single screens just stated and reports are awaited.
The problem for SMJ2 is that film is not performing well in mass centers and on single screens. It is made for them only. Poor performance in multiplexes can be justified. But shocking box office performance in mass centers is a big worrying factor.
Ideally, the film should have easily gone past 30 crore net in the first weekend. Now if the film fails to show jump through the weekend then we are looking into much below box office numbers.
